The Ultimate Coastal and Outback Ride. Melbourne to Perth across the Nullarbor. A journey for all your senses.
Days of coastal and outback roads from Melbourne to Perth on the west coast make this the pinnacle of our outback tours. It might sound long and arduous, but you’ll soon find yourself in a rhythm with nature and the road itself.
There’s simply too much to describe. But here goes… Starting in Melbourne we head north-west along the iconic Great Ocean Road to see the Twelve Apostles and onto the city of Adelaide for two nights. After travelling further north to Port Augusta we’ll soon be joining the start of the Nullarbor Plains.
Four days crossing the Nullarbor into Western Australia includes the 90 mile straight, the longest straight road in Australia. Look out for camels, emus, kangaroos and massive flocks of native parrots. At the end of the Nullarbor we turn south (left) to Esperance and Albany, voted one of the most desirable places in Australia to live. Then it’s off to Margaret River where some of Australia’s best wines are grown.
From there it’s just another day on the road and we make it to Perth and Fremantle and the Indian Ocean on the west coast. You will have then experienced what less than 2% of Aussies have ever experienced, even in a car…and you on a motorcycle as well. You’ll definitely have bragging rights at the end of this journey!
A one-way bike return fee will apply. Though, if you enjoyed the ride so much, we can always turn around and ride back in another, very fast, five days.
