TRIKE RIDES by Steel Horse Moto
Both Short Local Trike Rides and Long Scenic Trike Tours are available around Sydney City and the Greater Sydney Basin Region.
Steel Horse Moto is a well-established motorcycle tour company, now also offering Chauffeured Driven Trike Rides.
Our brand-new custom-built trike ‘The Hornet’ takes up to 3 passengers.
We can also call on additional Trikes with Accredited Riders if more are needed.
Costs stated are for 2 passengers. A 3rd person on the same trike, rides for only$40 per hour. Riders need to be a minimum 8 years of age. There is no upper age limit.
Rides usually start and end somewhere in the CBD, but other arrangements can easily be made to accommodate individual needs or requirements.
Rides of 3 or more hours, include a coffee stop, or a snack and/or a quick meal. We also take lots of photos for you to keep as a memento of your ride.
In the case of wet weather, you are able to reschedule your ride up to 3 hours before your ride is due to depart. International guests can request a refund if re-scheduling a ride is not possible.

1 – 2 Hour Chauffeured Trike Tours
1 Hour – $280 | 1.5 Hours – $350 | 2 Hours – $400
Choose from any of the following Trike Rides… Or together, we can modify or plan a tailored ride that best suits your needs.
Treasure Hunters. Sydney’s important landmarks, including a Harbour Bridge crossing anda trip to Bondi Beach, amongst many other icons of Sydney.
Historic Bridges Ride. Sydney has more than 10 bridges. We’ll ride over at least half of them, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Gladesville Bridge and the beautifully designed ANZAC Bridge.
Sydney’s Best Lookouts. Sydney Harbour has oodles of them. We’ll visit vantage points that take in the best Sydney Harbour and beach views on offer.
Sunrise or Sunset Rides. Get up early, or stay up late. It’s well worth it! We know all the best locations to start or end your day touring beautiful Sydney.
Twilight Ride. Go anywhere you’d like to go (or we can suggest the destinations) in the best light for taking photos. We will create some memorable images together.
Full Moon Rising 2026. Full Moons only rise every 28.5 days, so book early: January 3, February 2, March 3, April 2, May 1, May 31 (a blue moon), June 29, July 29, August 28, September 26, October 26, December 21. Or even a day either side of these dates. When the Full Moon rises out of the Pacific Ocean, the magic of the night begins!
City Lights. Night rides through and around the city are spectacular. The traffic is light, the temperatures are cool and the harbour and ocean are, well… ‘reflective’.
Midnight Express. We’ll start our ride before the clock strikes 12 and finish the ride after it has. And all in a blissful traffic free environment.
2 – 3 Hour Chauffeured Trike Tours
2 Hours – $400 | 3 Hours – $490
Southern Beaches. Touring the Eastern Harbour foreshore through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross, and Rushcutters Bay to Rose Bay then it’s off to Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte, Clovely, Coogee and Maroubra Beaches. If we have time, we’ll head back through Centennial Park to the City.
Northern Beaches Tour. This ride heads off over the Harbour Bridge, with City views at Kirribilli and the Northern Harbour foreshore to Neutral Bay, Cremorne, Mosman and Balmoral Beach. Then it’s off to the Spit Bridge, on to Manly, Freshwater, Curl Curl, Dee Why and Long Reef beaches before returning to cross the Harbour Bridge again and return to the City.
3 – 4 Hour Chauffeured Trike Tours
3 Hours – $490 | 4 Hours – $580
Home and Away. Palm Beach is where the TV series ‘Home and Away’ is filmed. On a good day they’ll be setting up or filming another episode. Heading north from the city, we’ll cross the Harbour Bridge and visit beaches at Balmoral, Spit Bridge, Manly, Freshwater, Curl Curl, Long Reef, Collaroy, Narrabeen, Bungan, Newport, Bilgola, Avalon, Whale and Palm Beach. You will have then seen, arguably, the best beaches and headlands in the world.
Royal National Park and South Coast. This is my favourite ride. Heading south, we’ll reach the entrance to the Royal National Park. After 40 minutes of riding through the park, with its unique flora and fauna, we’ll emerge at Stanwell Tops, a top place for Hang Gliders and Paragliders, when the wind comes in from the ocean. The 3 Hour Tour heads back to the City from here.
After a refreshment break, the 4 Hour Tour continues heading south to the Sea Cliff Bridge, Coalcliff, Clifton, Scarborough, Coledale, Thirroul and Bulli Beaches. Leaving the beaches, we’ll ascend the Bulli Pass to view the spectacular coastline from above, at the Sublime Point Lookout, before heading back to the city via the Princess Highway through Sydney’s Southern suburbs.
Looking for Snakes? This Tour takes us to the Australian Reptile Park on the Central Coast, about 1.5 hours from the Sydney CBD. Using the fast expressway out of Sydney we’ll turn onto the ‘Old Pacific Highway’ and into the bush for our morning break at Pie in the Sky. This is where Sydney’sMotorcycle Riders go for a pie and a coffee. Can you guess why? The roads and scenery are a rider’s dream. And the pies are simply… THE BEST! After a short break you’re off to see Australia’s unique animals AND reptiles. I’ll leave you at the Australian Reptile Park, and pick you up again in 2 hours, for the return journey back to the City. Allow 6 hours, but only pay for 4 riding hours. Entry fees into the park are an additional cost.
Longer Chauffeured Trike Tours
5 Hours – $670 | 6 Hours – $760 | 7 Hours – $850 | 8 Hours – $940
On Longer Tours, the more hours you choose, the more you will see. We make memorable rides; you will never forget.
The River Road. Another favourite 5 Hour Tour. From the City we’ll cross the Harbour Bridge and head off on the M2 to the Great North Road. This road takes us through Dural and on to where large rural properties abound. Then it’s into the Australian bush and down to Wisemans Ferry for a well-earned break. From Wisemans we’ll head along the River Road following the mighty Hawkesbury River to either the Lower Portland or Sackville Ferry. After a ferry crossing, we’ll take the road back through historic Ebenezer and Wilberforce to the early settlement town of Windsor. This is a very interesting and historic town to go shopping for unusual items or collectables. From Windsor it’s a 50-minute ride back to the Harbour Bridge and the CBD.
Zig Zag Ride. This ride up the Bell Line of Road to the restored Zig Zag railway is truly spectacular. Then to top it off you get to ride on the vintage steam train down a steep mountain slope and over convict-built viaducts. Early bookings are essential as the railway only runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, every second weekend. We’ll check their schedule. From there it’s back down the ‘mountain of blue’ to Tutti Frutti for a ‘Berrie’ good ice cream. This tour is 4 hours of riding but allow 5. There is an additional fee for riding the train.
The Mountains are Blue. A ride up to the Blue Mountains is a must do when you visit Greater Sydney. We’ll visit iconic landmarks and ride through mountain roads, the like of which you’ve never seen before. Up the ‘Bell Line of Road’ through the Australian bush. From Bell it’s over to Mt Victoria on the Causeway and down through historic villages and natural bush landscapes. The Three Sisters, Megalong Valley, Evans Lookout to name but a few of these locations. I know you’ll be super impressed with the day and so happy you made the decision to do it. To fit all of this ride in, this is a minimum 6 Hour Tour from the Sydney CBD.
Surf ‘n’ Turf. Take the Royal National Park and South Coast Tour then add a tour extension to Wollongong, Albion Park Rail, Macquarie Pass, Robertson and in to the tourist town of Bowral. From there we’ll head back along the M31 back to the City. You will have seen the best of the Royal National Park, the South Coast, the Australian bush, country towns and rural properties. Everything the Greater Sydney Region has on offer. This is a minimum 6 Hour Tour.
‘Your Choice’ Trike Tours
Costs are basically $280 for the first hour, and $120 for the second hour (this covers the time for the pick-up and the drop-off). Then it’s $90 for every additional hour.
Ability and Aged Riders. Special people need special attention. We’ve done it before and we’ll do it again… with all the required care in the world. Multiple rides can be for short durations, over the total booked period.
Birthdays, Parties, Schoolies and Special Occasions. We can organise a ‘Grand Entrance’ for you or your group of friends.
Intercity Transfers. Yep! Head off to the Central Coast or Newcastle or Wollongong. Take in the sights along the way. Pack light and we’ll fit all your luggage onboard.
